I had never had major trouble with acne but then all of a sudden, I started breaking out all over my face.  I tried chemical peels, facials and every products that was suggested to me but nothing worked.  I came to Reneux Med & Day Spa where Dr. Ilar-Revilla created a skin program for me that included a mix of OBAGI products and MICRODERMABRASION.  It was a comforting feeling to have a physician work on my skin and design my personal skin care regimen.  When I started using the Obagi Clenziderm system, I saw an improvement in my skin within the first week.  I continued to use the Obagi Clenziderm system for about 4 weeks while undergoing the process of the microdermabrasion at Reneux with Dr. Ilar-Revilla.  My acne was almost completely cleared up when Dr. Ilar-Revilla started me on the Obagi Nu-Derm system.  Now my skin is clear of acne, softer and smoother than ever before, I could not imagine that my skin could be this clear again.  Dr. Ilar-Revilla took the time to design a skin care program that was tailored for my skin problems.

Walking into Reneux Med & Day Spa, I was thrilled to see the beautiful environment that was thoughtfully designed for a pure relaxing experience.  I booked the Reneux Signature Facial (formerly named Pampering Back Facial), which was 90 minutes of pure bliss!  Imagine a full hour of back cleansing, steaming, masking and slow massage, combined with a full scalp massage and a 30-minute mini facial treatment.  A hand/arm massage caps of this most luxurious of spa treatments that I've ever experienced in many years (and many spas later).  Katie's master touch imparts true magic in transforming the experience from relaxing to heavenly.  A total value for the luxe treatment, which will like its namesake, impart absolute renewal.

 

Having a stubborn problem with the cellulite on my inner thighs, for which dieting and exercise have little/no effect.  VelaShape seems to be a valuable alternative to the invasive liposcution treatments.  The procedure is virtually painless, easily tolerated and gives the skin a smoother look.  When I feel my legs, there is a noticeable reduction in the ridgey, bumpy texture of my skin and after the fourth treatment, a satisfying progress towards a sleeker silhouette is observable.  The skin is firmer!  While I know that a reasonbale diet and exercise regimen will be needed to sustain the changes, there is happiness in knowing that these FDA approved treatments can give a good result and are safe!  My pants fit much better and the "pouchy fat pockets" are shrinking - this is terrific!

It's been over three years since I first started using Obagi and although my skin tone had improved, I wasn't completely satisfied because dark brown splotches were still visible on my face.  I was told that this was as much as the Obagi treatment could do for me.

 

When Dr. Ohbe-Arakaki suggested that I be her model for IPL/Skin Rejuvenation treatment, I quickly accepted for I had all the trsut in her.  After the first session, I noticed tiny dark scabs forming where the brown splotches were.  After 2 weeks, when I used the toner, brown scabs appeared on the while cotton ball erasing some of the darkness of the skin.  After a month, she suggested that I come in for a touch up treatment.  Miraculously, the white cotton ball with toner on, turned browner as my brown splotches gradually faded away until I was completely clear!

 

I stopped to look at my new complexion in disbelief every chance I had!  Family members, friends, neighbors and even Dr. Edith Pang, who have all seen me at my worst, were all admiring my new complexwion.  I felt ecstatic with the results!

 

I definitely recommend the IPL/Skin Rejuvenation treatment for anyone who feels as frustrated as I felt trying to attain a clear complexion again.  The IPL treatment has given me my confidence back to face the public without feeling self conscience.  I am extremely impressed and eternally grateful of Dr. Ohbe-Arakaki's sincerity, kindness, caring and expertise.  I cannot find any words to adequately express my gratitude and joy for the incredeible job that Dr. Ohbe-Arakaki did on me.
